VW Heater Boxes and J-Tubes

Chirco performance offer several styles of replacement heater boxes and heater box replacement pipes also known as J tubes, standard J tubes fit all upright Air Cooled Volkswagen engines and replace factory style heater boxes which is great for some applications such as fiberglass dune buggies and performance Volkswagen street cars, but some folks want to keep heat in their car while still utilizing a performance exhaust system, this can be done a few ways. You can either use our stock replacement VW heater boxes or our upgraded ceramic coated heater boxes, both standard and ceramic coated heater boxes are available with welded on flanges for our higher end performance VW exhaust systems, welded flanges prevent the use of the standard heater box clamp for a much tighter and more permanent seal.
