Chirco Replacement Rear Aprons Fit VW Bug Beetle 1949-1966 This apron design is specifically for the 1965, 1966 Bug. The earlier VW rear aprons are out of production, this apron is also used on the earlier vehicles, 1949 thru 1966. Deck lid lock mount area is threaded for the installation for 1965-1966 VW When used with pre-65 beetles, the welded deck lid latch will need be removed from original apron and welded to new apron, Light modification required to deck lid lock area, 1964 and earlier Beetles.
