VW Engle W130 Camshaft Valve Lift

Camshaft Valve Lift .460 308 Duration .419 Cam Lift Drag Racing and Offroad Competition. To be used with 1.1:1 or 1.25:1 Rockers. If you have 1.4:1 or 1.5:1 Rockers, use the FK series camshafts. The Engle W130 VW Bug camshaft grind specs are .419″ Cam Lift, .460″ Valve Lift (1.1 Rockers), 308 degrees of advertised duration, and 267 degrees of duration at .050″, on a 108 Lobe Center.

You must have dual 2bbls of carburetion, and good head porting and more displacement. 1 1/2″ exhaust at a minimum. You can expect a powerband of 2500-6500 RPMs, the more headwork and carburetion the better the low end will be. You must use dual springs with this cam, and Bolt On Rocker Shafts. Use a compression ratio of 10-10.5:1. This is a solid camshaft option for drag racing and off-road competition.
