At Chirco Performance, we offer VW Sand Rail High Torque starters for your performance engine. Often times, if your engine is souped up, the stock VW starter is not going to power that engine over. Our dune buggy high torque starters will work on all VW beetle transmissions as well as the VW bus 002 transmission and the 091 transmission. Our VW sandrail high torque starters come in two different colors, black and then a polished chrome. The both are the exact same starter with just a different color for your preference.
